Navigating Insurance

 

Dr. Lou is an in-network provider for Medicare and Stanford Health Care Advantage.  She is out of network provider for all other private insurances, however she strives to help all of her patients utilize the benefits of their insurance.

 

Dr. Lou is able to provide superbills or submit out-of-network claims on behalf of patients that provide her with insurance information.  Patients with PPO or Open Access plans are likely to receive some reimbursement for the cost of care with her. 

 

If you have a PPO, you may be able to get 60 – 80% of each session reimbursed after you meet your deductible. She is happy to guide her patients in navigating their benefits and explaining the process of reimbursement.

 

Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA) allow you to set aside money before taxes. You can apply that to each appointment with her.
